Frequently asked questions

Will the image quality change?
For PNG output, pixels are identical. For JPG output, the file is re-encoded at quality 0.95 — visually indistinguishable in almost all cases.
Does it also remove GPS location?
Yes. GPS coordinates live inside EXIF, which is fully stripped by the canvas re-encode.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Files are processed directly in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, so your documents never leave your device.
Does it work on mobile?
